A living tale by Mael Le Mée to be enjoyed together in a multimedia sink from 8-11 years (CE2-CM2)
For the first Capitaine Futur, La Gaîté Lyrique invites Mael Le Mée, a performer and cartoon script-writer to present Raoul Pèques, a multimedia, interactive and collaborative 'show-tale'.
"Since his birth, Raoul Pèques's parents have stopped doing the dishes. They expect him to. That's why they had him. Stupidly. Thus, on his seventh birthday, they put Raoul at the sink, facing a mountain of accumulated dirty dishes which fill the kitchen up to the loft, and beyond…"
Bridging the real and the fantastic, the author unveils a moldable world, a gigantic pile of dishes in which every child equiped with a torchlight and a helmet becomes a hero.
Accompanied by a musician, he helps the class explore the ways of weaving a story, together and individually.
During his residence at la Gaîté Lyrique prior to the performances, Mael Le Mée will conduct handwriting and staging workshops with a CM1 class from Faubourg Saint-Denis (10th arrondissement).
The show is produced in collaboration with BTS communication visuelle multimédia (Advanced Specialist Degree in visual communication - multimedia) of the Ecole Estienne for the creation of images.
